...since I've done anything here. &nbsp;I saw my entry describing how I'm an Ancient History major and winced at how long ago that must've been even before I saw the date. Currently, Classics and Linguistics dual major (hopefully not changing any time soon), and the reason I'm too busy to do any drawing is that I'm taking Latin over the summer, as well as a 300-level Classics course, all while continuing to hold down a job. Next semester, joy oh joy, I'm taking Greek Prose, Latin Prose, Sanskrit, Linguistics, and Ancient Near Eastern Religions. Farewell what little free time I had. Hokay, so, my major is officially called "History: Ancient History and Classics Option." It's like a Classics degree, but offered through the History department. Anyways, lots and lots and lots of reading is involved. And writing. And I also work, and I'm taking a class in Chinese calligraphy, just for an extra two credits and some fun. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm having a great time. I don't mind having three hundred pages to read for the week when almost two hundred of that is out of the Iliad. However, that's still three hundred pages in a week. I'm expected to finish four epics and possibly as many as ten tragedies for one class this se

Needs what? A Winter holiday entry, of course. Of course, what everyone's interested in is my loot. Well, sorry to disappoint, but it's mostly books (which is not disappointing for me, of course). I've got most of Steven Brust's Vlad Taltos books, Mercedes Lackey and Andre Norton's Half-Elven trilogy, Twinkie Deconstructed, and H. Anna Suh's edit of Leonardo DaVinci's notebooks. In addition to the books, I got a few types of chocolate, Deep Forest IV, a brass-tipped quill pen (an interesting change from my, well, quill-tipped quill pens), a pair of nonstick gloves for kneading (while I'd rather get a mixer so I wouldn't have to hand-knead, t
